Chardham Yatra Itinerary from Delhi – 9 Days
Day 1: Haridwar to Barkot
Meet our tour representative at Haridwar railway station and start your journey towards Barkot. On the way, enjoy short stops at Mussoorie and Kempty Falls, known for their scenic beauty. Reach Barkot, check into your hotel, and relax. Dinner and overnight stay included.
Day 2: Barkot – Yamunotri Darshan – Barkot
Early morning, drive to Jankichatti, from where the 6 km trek to Yamunotri Temple begins. Offer prayers at the sacred shrine of Goddess Yamuna and take a dip in the natural hot spring near the temple. After darshan, return to Barkot for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Barkot to Uttarkashi
After breakfast, travel to Uttarkashi, a spiritual town known for its peaceful atmosphere. Check into your hotel and, in the evening, visit the famous Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.
Day 4: Uttarkashi – Gangotri Darshan – Uttarkashi
Begin your day with a drive towards Gangotri. Stop at Gangnani Hot Springs for a refreshing dip. Continue to the Gangotri Temple, located on the banks of the sacred River Ganga (Bhagirathi). Enjoy the serene Himalayan views and perform pooja. Later, return to Uttarkashi for dinner and night stay.
Day 5: Uttarkashi to Guptkashi / Sitapur / Phata
After breakfast, leave for Guptkashi. Enjoy the beautiful mountain drive and halt for lunch on the way. Check into your hotel upon arrival. Dinner and overnight stay at Guptkashi or nearby locations.
Day 6: Sitapur – Gaurikund – Kedarnath Trek
Drive to Sonprayag, complete the medical check-up, and continue to Gaurikund, the starting point of the Kedarnath trek. Begin your journey to the holy Kedarnath Temple, passing through Bheembali and Lencholi. Tented accommodations and basic facilities are available on the route (self-paid). After darshan of Lord Shiva, stay overnight at Kedarnath Camps.
Day 7: Kedarnath to Sitapur / Phata / Guptkashi
Return by trek to Gaurikund and drive back to your hotel in Sitapur/Phata/Guptkashi. Enjoy the evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay included.
Day 8: Sitapur / Phata / Guptkashi to Badrinath
After an early breakfast, proceed to Badrinath. On the way, enjoy scenic viewpoints at Chopta, popularly known as the “Mini Switzerland of India.” Reach Badrinath, check in, and prepare for evening darshan at the Badrinath Temple. Dinner and overnight stay in Badrinath.
Day 9: Badrinath to Haridwar
After breakfast, start your return journey to Haridwar via Joshimath. En route, visit the sacred Panch Prayag—Vishnu Prayag, Karn Prayag, Nand Prayag, Rudraprayag, and Devprayag—depending on time. You will be dropped at Haridwar railway station/airport.
